There was a 5 month delay between the ordering and the delivery of my car. This was due to shortages in manufacturing, but it meant I did not know when my new car would be arriving.

See above. Was told by sales manager that he could only apologise for the damage and repair. No compensation or effort to make good. Had I not wanted the car so much I would have walked away.
